Non-magnetic Measurement Probe Outer Tube
Product Description:
To ensure that the downhole measurement probe operates in an interference-free, non-magnetic environment, non-magnetic drill pipes are attached to both ends of the probe. The outer tube of the non-magnetic probe is made from non-magnetic steel, featuring low magnetic permeability, high tensile strength, and excellent torsional resistance. This setup provides a non-magnetic environment for downhole measurement systems, ensuring that the magnetic field at the probe location closely matches the surrounding earth's magnetic field. This allows for accurate determination of the borehole's geomagnetic direction and ensures the precision of the measurement system.
Product Features:
Non-magnetic: Exhibits non-magnetic properties with a magnetic permeability of ≤1.005.
Safety Performance: Does not produce sparks during impact or friction, enhancing safety in explosive environments.
High Tensile and Torsional Strength: With a tensile strength ≥1035 MPa and yield strength ≥965 MPa.
Good Ductility: Fracture elongation is 2 to 5 times that of beryllium copper, achieving performance levels equivalent to 135-grade steel.
Corrosion Resistance: Offers strong corrosion resistance and adaptability to underground environments, capable of operating in highly corrosive environments containing hydrogen sulfide acid.
Applications:
The non-magnetic measuring probe outer tube is primarily used in conjunction with measurement probes to provide a non-magnetic environment essential for accurate measurements.
