CMD130L tracked large-diameter drilling rig: 130-ton pull, diesel-powered. Built for steep-slope coalbed methane and geothermal projects. All-terrain mobility with low ground pressure.

CMD130L – Tracked Large-Diameter Drilling Rig

All-Terrain Power for Steep-Slope CBM and Mountainous Geothermal

The CMD130L tracked large-diameter drilling rig delivers unmatched stability on extreme terrain—ideal for coalbed methane in mountainous regions, alpine geothermal, and remote energy exploration. With Tier 4 Final Cummins power, low-ground-pressure tracks, and auto-leveling hydraulics, it operates safely on slopes up to 30 degrees without outriggers.

Stability Where Others Can’t Operate

Unlike conventional rigs, the CMD130L uses crawler tracks and real-time hydraulic leveling to maintain mast verticality on uneven ground. This eliminates extensive site prep, cutting mobilization time by up to 50% in zones like China’s Qinling Mountains or the Andes.

High-Power Large-Diameter Performance

As a purpose-built large-diameter drilling rig, it features:

130-ton hoist capacity and 914 mm (36") max hole diameter

Dual-speed power head: 32,000 N·m torque for hard rock coring

Tri-mode circulation (air/mud/foam) for versatile formation handling

15.5-meter mast stroke for efficient rod handling in confined spaces

Rugged, Serviceable & Certified

Built for harsh climates with dust-sealed hydraulics, corrosion-resistant coating, and easy-access panels. All critical systems meet ISO 13702 for hazardous environments and CE safety standards.

Proven in Remote Frontiers

Deployed across Sichuan’s steep CBM fields and Southeast Asian geothermal sites, the CMD130L accesses previously uneconomical reserves. Its modular design allows disassembly into helicopter-liftable sections (<5 tons each) for ultra-remote access.

Applications

CBM wells on gradients >20°

Alpine geothermal gradient drilling

Landslide investigation and emergency slope stabilization

Mountainous watershed water wells
