ZYL-9000D – In-Seam Directional Drilling Rig for 1000m Methane Drainage in Soft Coal Seams
The ZYL-9000D is a purpose-built in-seam directional drilling rig designed for 1000m methane drainage in soft, unstable coal seams prone to collapse or outbursts. With 9,000 N·m of adaptive torque and intelligent feed control, it maintains borehole stability in weak geology—making it ideal for stress-relief drilling ahead of longwall faces in high-risk mining districts such as Guizhou and Henan.
Developed with input from national coal safety institutes and deployed in over 30 Chinese mines since 2021, the ZYL-9000D features a modular split-structure design: power and mast units transport separately through roadways under 3.8 meters wide, with full reassembly in under 2 hours.
